Fabric Fabric Fabric and More Coming

Every day we get more spring fabrics. Last week we received a ton of bolts from one of our favorite vendors. He shipped us many gorgeous linens and cottons. My staff is debating over which piece they are getting for their Valentine from me. Judith even insisted she got a shot at what she wanted before we showed them to one of our regular customes with the same taste.
I can't wait to have some linen pants made as several of the linens are really beefy bottom weights. I love wearing linen pants in the spring.

Of course we had to make room for all the spring receipts so there is a table full of sale bolts in the back. My weekend project is to install the sale onto the website. Never a dull moment.

We had loads of fun Wednesday night at our belated Christmas party. We all dressed up and went to one of the great local restaurants. A good time was had by all the staff and my mother who was celebrating her 88th birthday on the same day.

We continue to receive new samples made up by our talented dressmakers. Check them out on the adult and heirloom galleries. I have a few new ones to install this weekend.

For those of you who knew Sally Hickerson, she is living in San Diego and planning a wedding on Leap Day. She has reconnected to an old flame of many years ago. She sounds ecstatic and all of us are happy for her.

Spring feels like it is right around the corner today. We are having very warm days. It really makes me dream of those tomato red linen pants I have on my wishlist. Hope you get to see all our new fabrics when you stop in or check out the website.
