Lots of Spring Fabrics Have Arrived

I have been remiss in posting new blogs. The days get away from me as I am pushing to get all the new fabric and buttons on the web along with everything else we do each day. I was in Vegas a few weeks ago shopping for fall.
Vegas was a great show and we found lots of beautiful wools and velvets for fall. There were also loads of gorgeous rayons, silks and cottons. Most of our fall goods will arrive in July, August and September.

We have been madly receiving goods for spring since February. There are tons of fabulous pant weight fabrics from linens to cottons. Many are solid with texture or just lovely and smooth. We have a whole rounder of just pant fabrics. There are tons of nice linens, including the fashion forward shades of brown with coordinate small stripes. Many of our linens are cross-dyed. We also have four new linens that are double woven and reversible in two colors.

We continue to receive monthly shipments of Vietnamese silks. They are two tone iridescent and each is glorious. I have made several things out of them for myself as I love them.

We also have loads of fun cotton prints to match the solid pants fabrics. The cottons come in all kind of fun patterns and many different colors. We also get monthly shipments of rayon batiks that would look great over pants or as pants. Rayons are wonderful in Kayla Kennington's Perennial Pant. Everyone at the store loves that pattern and many of us have made them.

Our new newsletter and class list is up for the next 12 weeks. We have lots of exciting new classes planned and loads of new samples that you can see in the store or on the web.

Have fun with your spring sewing. It is a good thing to do on a lovely spring day like today.
