Carol Ahles is Here

Carol Ahles is with us for the next two days. She is teaching four classes in our store and we are so honored to have her with us. We have cleaned and organized and we are ready to learn all kinds of wonderful things from a master of heirloom sewing on the machine.

Fall arrivals are coming in at a fast pace. Linda and Karen are getting cramps in their fingers from all the data entry to receive our new fabrics and buttons. Jennifer has been working lots of hours to get all the fabrics photographed and installed. I have been madly updating the gallery. We are six samples short of 200 samples on both our adult and heirloom galleries. It has been loads of work and everyone has pitched in, but we are so excited to have accomplished all this work in the last several months.

We are madly adding Sewing Workshop and Cutting Line Designs sample to our assortment. We have several, but more is better and we hope to have several more made before the ladies come for our November workshop. It is sold out and has been since July, but we can't wait for all the excitement this fall.

It may be scorching outside, but the assortment of beautiful wools keeps on growing each week. I love wools. They are so rich and luxurious. This fall, wool is projected to be the big news for fashion and fashion sewing. We have every weight from tropical to melton in loads of beautiful colors. I also scored on many bolts of my personal favorite designer whose name I can't say, but it stars wit A and K.

The store looks great. We have only one problem and that is we are running out of space for all the goods rolling in the door. Seems someone I know got a little carried away at market and we have too much fabric. Hope all of you will check out our newest arrivals on the website. They are always on the top of the respective pages. Come see us in the store and look at all our beautiful samples. Before you know it we will be over 200 in the store.

Happy Sewing to all and I hope you are staying cool. Joyce
