Fall Velvets and Wools have Arrived.

It is still in the eighties this week and feels very like summer. However, the store is loaded for fall with all these beautiful new velvets and wools. Our fall goods are mostly in. The UPS man brought so much yesterday that we almost couldn't walk in the office. It looked like the walls were covered in bolts. We are madly working it into the inventory and putting it out on the floor. One of our newest velvets was not on the floor for twelve hours before the bolt was sold for a wedding dress. It will be beautiful.

We also received all the faux furs. We have leopard, persian lamb in two colors, sheared beaver, crushed rabbit fur, and shearling. Thankfully, not one animal died for the production of these fabrics. They feel and look great even though they are not at all real fur.

The new fall brocades came in and the new fall dupioni colors are here. Amazingly several of them coordinate. The store has never looked better. Come see us and you will find lots of things you will love. We are madly photographing and gettting them prepared to be installed on the web. Unfortunately, for our web customers that process takes longer than I wish it would. We will hopefully have much of it on in the next two weeks. Happy sewing. Joyce
